The Pendleton County Commission is made up of a three-person board.  The present commissioners are:

The County Commission serves as the chief administrative body of the Pendleton County Government. The jurisdiction, duties and responsibilities of the Board are established by West Virginia law. Primary among these powers is the responsibility to set the strategic direction, fiscal priorities and management practices of Pendleton County.

 

Our Mission:

The Commission will conduct all duties in a manner that encourages citizen involvement, enhances public trust, and promotes understanding. Our mission is to enhance the economic well-being and quality of life for our residents. We envision a unique and growing community and will strive to exceed expectations by engaging with our community and developing innovative solutions to challenges. We will partner with others so that Pendleton County will remain a healthy, safe, and compelling place in which to live, work, recreate and visit.


Meetings:

Regular meetings of the County Commission are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held in the County Commission office on the 1st floor of the Courthouse, beginning at 9AM. The public is invited to attend.
